Since 1985, Fitness West has thrived as the beach area’s favorite family-owned and operated gym. We have been serving our community for over 40 years with a simple philosophy: treat our customers as we would want to be treated. Our goal is to provide a clean, friendly, non-intimidating, hassle-free environment where anybody (regardless of age or conditioning level) will feel comfortable working out and living a healthy lifestyle.
Our 6,300 square foot facility features an expertly selected array of exercise equipment including elliptical machines, treadmills, stair-climbers, upright and recumbent Lifecycle bikes, spin bikes, rowing machines, Olympic free weights, dumbbells, and a complete circuit of Nautilus and Matrix machines. Our studio is specifically designed for our group exercise classes which include Yoga, Spin, Core N Strength Training, and Pilates.
Fitness West occupies the entire second floor of the Pacific Plaza II Shopping Center and is conveniently located in the heart of Pacific Beach at 1880 Garnet Avenue (northwest corner of Garnet & Lamont).
